Fun tourney covering all sorts of events to test your speed, aim, control, agility and teamwork. Several events are planned so the tourney will probably last a couple of months.

Team sizes should be min of 3/4 members, max 6 members. Some events are for only one team member, others for 2, 3 or 4 members, feel free to form teams ready and start practising! Events planned so far in no particular order;

Doom Racing on zdraceb by Earthquake.

Weapons Aim on shootingrange10 by Exl DM flags 4474884 & 196672.

Jump - The Crossing on clcrewjump by Julz_D set as team DM with mouselook and jump enabled (only works on SP as DM, needs 2 players for Team DM).

Ice CTF icehok by Alexmax map01 and spacesanta by Spacepirate map02 & map03 (not as slippy as map01 on icehok), usual dm flags for CTF.

Rocket Jump by Doom2Pro - finish line being adapted on a new version for the tourney.

Strafe Race by Englander - start and finish being added to the map.

Ice Race by Exl - map is 50% done and a blast.

Team coop by TUD - 1 bug to fix before release.

And hopefully a Team DM being put together by Julz_D, Milian and Cybershark (not confirmed yet, the maps exist on their wads already though).

Each event will be run as a mini tourney, two running at once where possible. Points will be awarded to the teams for each event in the same way tourney points are done.

The number of teams allowed will depend on interest for this event. There will be a US ZDolympics run at the same time, the winners of Euro and US can play each other in all events to determine who wins the ZDolmpics 2006 International Champions title.

(Julz has had another idea for an event for this, will keep you posted).

Ice Race is complete and the coop map just needs a last play test to ensure the bug has fully gone. Registration for this will be starting very soon, so get your teams organised Smile

The competitive coop map bug is fixed, a couple of cosmetic changes and it'll be ready. Smile

Doom2pro isn't quite finished with modifying it yet, from what I've seen it's damn hard. Look out for RJ Tourney Test server.

Btw, registration for teams will start on the 1st Feb, the first two events will be the shooting range and doom racing, I'll get them hosted asap so people can practise (you'll need two members from your teams for these two events), all rules etc will be posted at the start of registration Smile

I added some WADs into Oblacek engine.

Here is the list:
(ZDolympics' WAD has a specific ZO prefix in the database for better finding of it)

---
ZO-Doom Racing - Doom Racing (in section Cooperative), actual version: zdraceb.wad

ZO-Weapons Aim - Weapons Aim (in section Cooperative), actual version: shootingrange13.wad

ZO-Jump-The Crossing - Jump - The Crossing (in section Team Deathmath), actual version: clcrewjumpv7.wad

ZO-Ice CTF - Ice CTF (in section Capture the Flag), actual version: icehok_a1.wad

ZO-spacesanta - spacesanta CTF (in section Capture the Flag), actual version: spacesanta.wad

ZO-Ice Race - Ice Race (in section Cooperative), actual version: icerace10.wad

ZO-Rocket Jump - Rocket Jump (in section Cooperative), actual version: rjump_t2.wad
---

By the time I can fill database with newer WADs of ZDolympics.

Thanks for your info about bad configuration of server (DMFLAGS, DMFLAGS2, ...)

Three servers are up on DSG ready, shooting range and doom racing. Ice Race is also on ready. As soon as one tourney gets close to finishing, the next will begin.

Please note, due to a slight bug preventing one monster spawning if another is dying on a spawn point on Shooting Range there will be a new version going on that has added 11/35th of a second delay between monsters spawning.

3 seconds is a lot in this event Wink

Wow never seen that before, the time on there is pretty precise. If that happens during the games it would be a draw. We'll do some checking too though, Ice Race isn't going to be played as an event until Shooting Range is almsot over.

I know that max members of a team is set to 6, bud we would like to sign up 7 players. Should it be done? We have 6 clan members (Speedy Marines) + one not particurarly clan member, but he plays all recent tourneys etc for our clan. So we are 7 and letting one out would do bad you know:((. Could you make an exception? Sam? Pls and Thanx...

I need them both uploading again btw, slight bugs at odd moments showed up, they've all been fixed now though. Including the one turSKA found.

Tomsa I can't really see any problem with that, but i'll allow all teams to have a max of 7 to make it fair.
