To be played on Nivs Cali server, players from both sides ping 180-200.

6 maps, 3 to be chosen by each team, any 3 from zdctfmp1 and 2.

Date for the match to be finalised by the teams from 8/9th October and 15/16th October. The time for the match must be around 12 noon GMT making it around 9pm for the Aussies.

DM flags will be set to 21508 and 656896 (same as oblacek) Time limit 15 mins per map.

Scores are by maps won not flags. Tiebreaker map to be agreed on by both teams/admin prior to the match.

[Magnus] has arranged the challange, Aussie captain and server and is the Aussie admin for this.

We need people who want to play in this putting their names down in this thread, we also need a captian........ I'll choose the captain based on who asks to be one when they sign up and their experience of captaining/playing in CTF teams in the Euro CTF tourneys. The Captain will choose his team and reserves.

Only Euro players may sign up for the Euro team as we want as equal as possible pings with the Aussies on the server.

Thanks to everyone for signing up for this, it'll be a lot of fun, it's rare we get to play aussies with equal pings so a big thanks to Niv for hosting this, and to magnus for the challange and arranging the server.

Due to his experience at captaining successful CTF teams since the beginning of CTF tourneys (the first 3 big ones not included), I've decided to give Vampire Knight the position of Captian. Vamp you will need to pick 6 players plus reserves, you will also need to choose 3 maps in total from zdctfmp1 and 2. Hopefully some of the bigger maps will come into play for this tourney, though the choice is yours.

People still wanting a chance to play in this may still put their names down, this is a one off match, once the day and time is set it can't not go ahead, so reserves for all positions will be needed, this also means Vamp will have enough people to organise training matches.

The tournament date will be finalised by the two captains once they have full teams arranged. Vamp can you let us know who you are choosing from the listed players so far, no need to name who will be reserve etc just yet, and let us know your choice of maps asap as the aussie team also need to name 3, the sooner we know, the sooner the right mapset can go on the server.
