Euro Open Tourney November is now open for registration, Click here to register.

Rules

- You must reply to the verification E-Mail sent to you or your place will be re-opened for someone else. This is the first stage in making sure you turn up for your match.

- If you fail to turn up for your game you will be banned from the current Tourney and next months Tourney. Only sign up if you're sure you can play, we will not tolerate no-shows.

- You must contact your opponent A.s.a.p after you find out who they are and arrange a time to play. If you miss your match and the other player turns up, the above rule applies. If neither player turns up, the above rule also applies.

- Post your scores in the forum or E-Mail them to the Tournament moderator.

- Be sure to post in the forums at least once every round. If your match doesn't get played for whatever reason, then I have no record of what extent both of you tried to contact the other. The result will be a double DQ.

- It is highly recommended that you include a messenger service as well as email. They're free to get, and they will increase your chances of playing your matches greatly.

- You may only join one tournament at a time. This will ensure there are more slots open for other players.

Due to there being several versions of this wad around, the latest version has had it's name changed to sexorizm.wad to avoid anymore confusion.

Dude you really are retarded arent you?

Intermediate tornament is for intermediate players i.e. not advanced, average players

Open is for any one but is generally inhabited by the best players on each contitnent.

now why couldnt you have worked that out yourself?

Behave guys Razz

Hopefully the brackets will be set for the Euro tourneys tomorrow (I forgot about this month having 31 days anyway Embarassed ), the reason for the slight delay is that we have 4 unknown players plus one Aussie on a 56k entered in the open. One unknown player is also entered in the Int. tourney meaning possibly only 5 players entered in there. I'm waiting 24 hours to give the unknown players time to reply to my emails, if they don't i'm seriously considering canceling the Euro Int. Tourney this month and offering the registrants places in the Open instead. I would rather have one full tourney with players that will turn up.

Any objections anyone?

no objections here, i would much rather have to fight for my place than been given it through "no regristrants" or people not turning up, if even that means i will lose, i will at least feel i was beat by a better player

The players have been loaded into the tourney http://www.zdaemon.org/tourney/viewtourney.asp?tourney_no=45

Please note;
Kuna and Ladisoft have been removed due to undeliverable emails.
Exl, Drac0 and General_Manjago have been moved over from the canceled Intermediates Tourney and have the option to withdraw.
[CC] Izm chose to withdraw.
NoYa and Fnuky have yet to reply to the verification emails and are possible no-shows Confused their slots will be freed if someone else wishes to play and they don't reply in the next 24 hours.

If anyone would like to be on a backlist for a possible slot, please post here asap.

Good luck to all Smile

Amtiskaw 40-30 T.U.D

A surprisingly good game, and I did much better than I thought. An unusual map certainly helped, but hopefully I've turned a corner with my performance against one of the tourney favourites.

Good luck in the rest of the tourney Amtiskaw.

Just played T.U.D., I didn't pull out, just got a little preoccupied with all this US election nonsense and forgot what time I was supposed to be playing. Not sure why Omegason would say I'd pulled out?

Anyway, score was Amtiskaw 40, T.U.D. 30. Screenshot available if necessary. Good game, on a very strange map.

Maybe he was reading the brackets wrong. Either that or he was being a wind-up, but then again I'm not sure why he'd want to do that.

(for those not in the know, Omegason said in CTF earlier that I was facing Tigerson, so I thought Amtiskaw had pulled out. Omegason said so, too when I asked him)
