ZdoomGL is comming along nicely and i've added a few more hacks to the particle system in zdaemon 2.0 with more to come.

Once Zdoom 2.0.64 is released I can start to get heavy in the netcode and hopefully have decorate weapons work properly.

New, particles look nice....
But what happened to the BFG effect?
Did it get scrapped, or did you turn the option off?

Most likely turned off, I did push Danni to actually write the particle menu.

Would it be possible for the flag to always glow, even when carried? That would make it like in Quake 2.

Also, lookin good. Smile

What codec did you use for those? Please use just the standard DivX codec, it does the job great, everyone has it, and it's free unlike that horseshit 3viX.

XviD > DivX

I once encoded a 2.0 clip (from uncompressed AVI) into DivX and XviD with the same bitrate (I can't remember what it was, probably 768kbps). The results... well, the DivX clip was full of tears, and the XviD video had no problems whatsoever.

Uhm, remember the sewers map?
IF you start hiding there, you can easily spot the flag carrier...
Same goes for all dark spots/maps

Xvid is pretty good that's true, but these clips aren't working for me so I'm assuming that they're not XviD. Smile
