Hey all,
It's either time for Europe to get revenge or USA to again show who's boss!
This will be the sign-up thread... but first, let me lay the rules.
Day of the match: AUGUST 1st, SUNDAY,
US time: 12:00pm EDT
UK time: 5:00pm DST
To sign up: Leave your zdaemon name and the country you wish to play for. Do NOT make your nominations for captains at this time.
CAPTAINS: Captains will be picked by voting. If you wish to be a captain, please state your desire to be one in your sign-up. Captains will pick 4 other starters, as well as 5 reserve. No restrictions on who can play (so whether you played in the last one is irrelevant). They are also responsible for
- finding a server in their respective continent, attaining rcon (remote) access, and allowing the other team to test the server one week prior to the game.
- setting up training schedules
- setting up in-game substitions
- record the game from their perspective (when playing)
- organizing the team in general
Don't sign up to be a cap if you don't intend to do the above, and more.
GAME - 8 CTF levels played *twice*, once on the US server, once in the Euro server. Both teams will vote on the 8 levels they want to play from the first and second mappack, which will then be totalled to determine the map order.
Captains are responsible for switching the maps through the console during the game.
After 4 levels of play (on both servers), there will be a 5 minute half-time. During the server switch, there will be a 10 minute break.
SERVERS: Servers on both sides need to be passworded, 10 players MAX allowed to play (+3 spectator spots, for two captains and myself).
The HOST country gets to determine the color they will play as. US team gets to decide what color they are on the US server, Euro team getst o decide colors on Euro server.
In-game server substitions are also allowed.
