This was discussed at some point in the past but I guess it might not be properly documented anywhere:
When a floor is supposed to change type to become damaging the floor texture changes but the floor doesn't become damaging.
The non-generalized vanilla and Boom actions that transfer type seem to work fine so this appears to be an issue with the Boom generalized linedefs.

Known cases:
- the big lowering stairs at the beginning of ngmvmt1.wad MAP06
- the 3-key switch (line 1929) near the beginning of haste.wad MAP14 (it's meant to change the floor to type 11 so the map can't be exited, thanks to boom_compatible for discovering this one)
- sector 176 (the part with a mancubus, thing 12) at the beginning of 400minvr.wad MAP35 (there's no way out of the sector at the point it's supposed to be damaging so this becomes a softlock)
