Original wad file:d2duelremix.wad

This wad is a 32 map pack of all original DOOM2 levels remastered to duel.
Created to play in normal mode,with itens respawn and weapon stay! Maps were done to item controlling.
The objective of this wad is show to all people that original maps are cool and strategic.
Because they were balanced in this wad and scrapped bad original parts.
All megashperes were replaced by supercharges,because mega is unbalanced for multiplayer.

But whats the difference between this wad remix and old doom2duel released before??
Remix is done to play in normal mode,with itens respawn and weapon stay.The old was for altdeath(weapons respawn after).
The maps in remix were even more reduced than doom2duel altdeath.Remix is for more ''action'' game.Also,many secrets of original maps are now shown to unexperienced players.I can say Remix is more similar to popular zddl style and old version altdeath is to original style.
Doom2duel altdeath respects more old item placement and playability.Remix makes all maps reduced for action mode and all spawns with weapons.


Most maps have removed or reduced invul/invisible in this version, but there are strategies to avoid them.
Invul rests for 30 secs and is detectable.invisible for 60 secs,and not useful in light areas.if your opponent is invisible,avoid dark areas.
For invul,just shoot hitscan and you can see puffs and not blood in the player.
Also, it will not scream.If you die, just wait opponent's 30secs finishes.Also works to invisible.
It's more easy dodge invul than bfg, because invul is only run or hide.Maps in this wad have BFG in harder areas.

best maps in MY opinion to play(maps that skill and strategy is more required,but feel free to play others):1,2,3,5,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,18,19,20,23,27,28,31.

Map changes(item locations please check the map):
1.added 2 souls in the map and linked start area with shotgun area.deleted extra bfg to balance reasons.ssg blue room,rocket and outside areas opened.
2.added extra armor and soul to balance map.
3.opened bfg area to prevent campers.rebalanced bfg itens.removed central torches that gives bfg player advantage.
4.scrapped redkey areas.made bfg area attackable outside.added extra armor to balance.
5.added extra ssg and armor to balance the map.removed prison area.made bfg in plasma area.removed invul in this map because is concentrated with armor and invisibilities.
6.deleted spiderdemon area.created a way to reach ssg to start area.deleted teleports area.
7.rebalanced some itens again.
8.deleted exit area.rebalanced some itens.linked caco area with bfg area.reduced central doors.
9.removed the acids of 3 doors places.removed long elevators to soul.removed outside area.
10.made bfg with acid in shotgun start area.deleted acid mega area.removed confused uac area.
11.deleted exit dark area.added extra ssg for more action.added acid to invul.bfg near invisibility original area.
12.deleted inside areas.rebalanced armors souls and invisibilities.deleted elevators exit area.
13.scrapped chaingun elevator area.deleted the door berserk way arrow area.removed elevator red key berserk area.removed exit berserk area,all berserks are now outside.reduced the rocket area.extra soul.
14.maked rocket start area always opened.rebalanced souls.deleted chaingun after areas.BFG with new pilar to prevent jumpers.
15.reduced exit area.deleted wolf3d area.removed chaingun with medkits area.
16.deleted excessive plasma guns.bfg only in bfg area,no more excessive cells and medkit.reduced shotgun with soul area.
17.deleted red acid start area.reduced secret invisibility area.reduced final plasma area.rebalanced with green armor in soul door area.
18.removed megasphere with health bonuses area.removed acid bfg confused area.extra ssg in start to balance with open area ssg.made map with health bonuses only.
19.only central archvile area and around aviable.new ssg to balance the otherside,can be picked in the elevator.made map with health bonuses only.megaarmor in arch.greenarmor in safe areas.deleted excessive bfg cells and meds.
20.reduced all acid structure in the map.removed the long elevators in acid soul area.bfg in lostsoul area.added extra elevator to escape center area.
21.added soul in green acid to balance with original mega place.added megaarmor to exit useless area.modified invul place to be harder.
22.fixed original spawn bugs.added extra soul and armor.added megaarmor in fall useless elevator area.rebalanced itens.
23.megaarmor in exit.mega replaced by soul.only outside area aviable.
24.only start acid areas aviable.souls and weapons rebalanced.
25.removed excessive cells in plasmagun.removed final useless area.rebalanced weapons and itens.
26.plus one supercharge and megaarmor in acid to balance.bfg moved to exit.deleted bfg outside area and plasma area.
27.deleted corpses area.removed first cloned area.only 1 bfg in ssg's button now.
28.redistributed invulnerabilities concentrated,less invuls now.megas replaced to souls.armors in new places to compensate megas.removed start area.
29.aviable only final area to arena deathmatch rebalanced.
30.only sin area aviable,no more all weapons area.rebalanced souls.replaced mega by soulsphere.
31.created a way in the middle of the map to connect ways.megaarmor in empty place.exit have the same as the secret unbalanced bfg area,now 2 good areas balanced.plasma secret area and start area deleted.
32.added chaingun in end of level to balance map.removed excessive cells in the map.changed plasma by bfg placements.replaced invul by megaarmor.
