When a map changes DMFLAGS like no jumping for the map, on next map the server keeps the same DMFLAGS. Not sure if this is supposed to be this way but maybe adding a cvar to make it always default back to the server DMFLAGS.
Example nutty2_24.wad map04 disables it, and on map change it stays no jumping. |

Could you share the cfg you are using? I see no issue on this using cvar overrides, so the error might be on your end..? |

Indeed, using Cvar overrides it is made that after the selected map is played, the value goes back to the one set in server setting.
What do you mean exact with "When a map changes DMFLAGS" Mega-Dog? You mean with rcon during a map, or via mapinfo? |

Some Wads change prob with map info. Now I know with the Cvar override you can do it, but if you have random maps on you never know what the next map is, unless there is a Cvar override for a after map. |

As far as I tried, even with randmaps on the cvar override will work for the choosen map. It doesnt matter which map will be next, cause at map end it will be resetted. |

Yes, that is true but if the MAP itself changes it after the map it doesn't change back which is what I am getting at. |

I think I finally get what you mean.
You are talking about the Mapinfo entries, and not cvar overrides.
Nutty2_24 is missing the "Defaultmap" definition.
"Defaultmap" sets the defaults that will be automatically used for all subsequent map definitions.
So after map04 it doesnt set it back to "Allowjump" anymore.
This is not a bug, this is just a missing mapinfo entry. |

Yea, but I think the server should have a option to default back after a map. |

True, but on random maps there is no cvar override for the next map as you don't know which one it would be. |

You dont need that. The cvar override is set for a specific map. When that map is loaded, it will override, and at map end it will be reset. It doesnt matter which map comes next |
