Hai,
This is not really reguest but rather a note.
Idea is to have decorate-like extended dehacked states to handle heretic and hexen states and possibly newer ones.
Right now we have a these from dehacked itself :
Weapon 0 (Fist)
Bobbing frame = 102 (Aka WeaponReady state)
Shooting frame = 103 (A Flash! state)
Deselect frame = 101
Select frame = 100
Firing frame = 104
And we are lack of those :
Hold frame = #
(Used by many heretic/hexen weapons, can't be set/defined unless dehsupp frame re-direct used still very very hacky)
Now, there's idea to add alternate attack.
For this we need to add those equialents
AltFiring frame = #
AltHold frame = #
AltShooting frame = #
If someone would like to see native zdoom reload featue (instead of CPW_JumpIfArgs workaround) we need this:
Reload frame = #
! With this codepointers
A_CheckForReload
A_ResetReloadCounter
So yea, NOT a reguest but rather for easy orientation or discussion |

Sounds okay, just don't forget that a secondary attack control option has to be added to controls menu as well (eg. altfire is called when you press mouse2). |
