I got a notification it will be available in about one week.

Planning on upgrade it ASAIC, will it be compatible with ZD and run with no issues? Back to Win8 I remember people had found various problems and wasn't able to play properly (tutti-frutti effect IIRC or some of the sort)

While test builds of Win10 were out, ZDaemon was given a brief run through.

As far as I could tell, all was well.

However there have probably been a few changes since then.

Based on that test a few months back, it was indeed compatible.

Will it run without any issues? That cannot be predicted.

Needless to say, there's only one way to find out.

i'm using Windows 10 build 10240 and Zdaemon has a problem here...

If i try to run Zdaemon in windowed mode, it becomes extremely laggy (fps drop).

In full-screen mode there's the same problem than was in W8, using uncapped FPS makes a..."desync" between the upper and lower half of the window.

thanks I expected only the last of your lines as response, Dom

sure it's hard to predict how something will behave when it ain't out to test. I woulda said the build doesn't differ that much from Win8 and there wouldn't be any major problems, it continues where it left with few other improvements, but see, Zedek pointed out an issue, that's cool to know beforehand mane !

Zedek: we need to know if your observations apply to 1.09 or to 1.10 or both.

I remember vsync tearing effect on windows 8 when used with INTEL drivers in 1.10 (Same what zedek/chimila ment). It got propably fixed, since on my netbook it worked well with intel and win8 (not like i really liked it)

I upgraded my laptop to Win10 and in fullscreen there is a visible desync if you turn your view.
In windowed mode everything is fine.
With capped framerate (35 fps) everything is fine.

I took a picture of the screen, because it's not visible on screenshots:

Exposure time: 1/100 sec
ZDaemon: 1.10b07
Graphic card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T9400
Screen 1680x1050, 60 Hz

Interesting Krawa. I don't seem to have this problem at all on my Windows 10 laptop.

Another problem is that ZDaemon could run choppy or even not at all in fullscreen mode.
Compatibility settings can fix that:

Maybe it has something to do with DirectX 12.

No more compatibility mode needed.
