Hey les kids!
As promised (and mainly because I'm sick today so I'm not going to work), here are all the game modes we have released so far. Each has it's own rules, but more importantly, some of them come with specific servers CVars. Those are required to find a gameplay experience that will best suit your needs. Major props to Ch0ww for the wad hosting!
- Name: Ultimate Berserk Doom
- Description: This mode removes all weapons from the map (both pickable and dropped ones) and lets the players run through only using their fists. The players also start with 200% Blue Armor and 2 Heretic Timebombs.
- Required settings: Server DMFlag "Players spawn with berserk" must be true!
- Name: Randomized weapons (Original Doom)
- Description: Each player will receive a random weapon upon spawning and keep it until the map changes or the player dies. This version only includes Doom 2 default weapons.
- Name: Randomized weapons v2
- Description: This newer version includes the FCT custom weapons. You can now spawn with either the Glock, the Lever Rifle, the Minigun, the Grenade Launcher or the face-melting Magma Rifle! Please also note that this mode includes the new FCT monsters straight from Skulltag!
- Name: Randomized weapons v1.5 +
- Description: This version is a bit different from the two previous modes. In this edition, all players will have the same weapon. The sound of a horn will be heard a few seconds before the change occurs. As a bonus, this one is fully customizable, you can edit the weapons in the rotation, how long do they last, if the switch-timer is shown or not... In short, a great one for pure randomness!
- Required settings: See below.

- Name: Pistol Pain
- Description: All ennemies are replaced with hitscanners (Zombieman, Shotgunner, Chaingunner, Nazi) and the players only have 25% health and a pistol.
- Required settings: Be aware that this mode doesn't work with Ultimate Doom because of the aforementionned monsters, and any map that requires monster specific extermination won't work (Map07, Map30, Map32, ExM8, E4M6).
- Name: Alternate Beastiary
- Description: JCD went full exotic on that one! Monsters are completely new and use various Dehacked codepointers from Heretic, have fun with them!
- Name: Doom 3 Nightmare
- Description: Like Doom 3, this mode will decrease the players' health to 25%. It won't decrase further, but monsters will not be agreeing with this...
- Name: The Shopping Center v1
- Description: Our most advanced FCT event in it's first form. This one is a basic version in which you can buy stuff and give money. The map is simplistic yet not really practical.
- Required settings: Try not to activate anything that resets inventory, it will make players loose money aswell.
- Name: The Shopping Center v2
- Description: The most played and one of the FCTs still hosted to this very day. The HUB now comes in two floors with distinct pruposes; buying and selling. More weapons, new monsters, more awesome. In short, the one YOU should host.
- Required settings: Same as above. Also note that this mode doesn't work with any wad that has custom textures and patches in it. If you want compatibility to be guaranteed, add the textures of the wad you are playing within the Shop wad.
- Name: Stealthy Evil Ennemies
- Description: Plain simple, all ennemies are replaced by their ZDoom "Invisible" counterparts. Soyez prudents!
- Name: No gravity mayhem
- Description: Both players and monsters are free to fly. While it breaks some maps' layouts, it's total chaos.
- Name: Blowin' out your ... corpse
- Description: Whenever a monster is killed, he will explode. Sure this requires to think twice before shooting. Now think 75 times before doing so, because also players will explode. Cramped maps are now absolutely deadly.
- Name: Level Up v1
- Description: When players kill monsters, they earn experience points. Collected points allow you to get new weapons. You start with the fist, you can reach the BFG9000!
- Required settings: This version has had BaseQ servers crashing a few times the night we ran it, I recommend you use the second version.
- Name: Level Up v2
- Description: Same as before, except you can use the new FCT weapons in this one. Also much more stable, and includes CVars for dynamic exp levels!
- Name: Monster Roulette
- Description: Monsters with a twist! All the monsters in the map will be the same. Expect hilarity if all of them are Cyberdemons or even Archviles!
- Name: Out of this dimension
- Description: Heretic meets Doom! You can now play Doom using all weapons and power ups from Heretic. Be careful though, Heretic weapons are weaker than Doom's, play with caution!
- Name: Time attack Doom
- Description: Hit and run is how you summarize this one. You start with a little timer with a few seconds left. Each monster you kill gives you bonus time. Eliminate all the monsters within the time limit or you're in for a bad surprise...
- Required settings: Make sure "sv_acs_world_exit" is true, and "sv_allowexit" is false!
- Name: Hellspawn from outer space
- Description: This mod brings danger to an already chaotic place. All monsters now belong to various classes. Each class contains a few monsters, with different abilities. On each map start, the monsters will be randomly chosen from the available ones on each class. For example, let's you face a Zombieman on your first run, there might a Supershotgunner or Chaingunner instead on the second run! There are some nasty surprises in this mode, try it out!
