I am not sure but Uncapped FPS at 1680x1050 doesnot have noticeble effect until i am apply virtual 320x200 mode.

Probably Zdaemon requries more powerful PC now, that weird, for old games.
I am just able to run Quake 4 and Unreal Tournament 3 without lags but there is now not enought power.

Probably doom now must be hardware accelerated, in another way its slow dowm now.

Hi!
To show FPS write vid_fps 1 into console to see you're current FPS.
Also ZDaemon so far uses CPU to render scene (sinnce 1.10 with multicore support?) however check if you don't have antialisign (the one in video options) enabled ~.

Does the FPS improves when you use nearest higher or lower resolution? Just curious, because you might have win8, and some servers are not updated yet to 1.10 so it will load 1.09 so try windowed mode. Maybie is mine post useless maybie helpfull why not Very Happy

I Have Windows XP
FPS starts degrade after resolutions that going higher than 1280x1024

Some few more players <[BK]FunebraK> (1024x768) experiences same thing, yet I have no idea what it causes, never happened to me :/

It happens here, but the behaviour is slightly different, it starts smooth, then degrades until it reaches 35fps.
