Yo, i remember i play something when you kill the carrier you should bring back your flag (take the flag and put in your base)
I will like to see this in a Public ctf, would be more harder but i think the people will love it :) |

Sure it'd be nice to play it, asking for more teamwork. Keep in mind what to do in cases that the flag falls into poison or through some bridges making it impossible to return it, but those are minimum details. |

Even though it definitely does sound like fun and something that could make the match more interesting, you have to keep in mind that most of the players playing public will rage just because they're already loosing.
Making them go get their flag back, literally, will make the rage quitting increase, in my opinion.
Again, its a cool idea but perhaps it would be something done as a pwad and not actually a gamemode

Not to mention the people that would abuse such a feature; let an enemy grab your flag, cap him, then take your own flag and hide with it. |

If it's already there during just normal CTF dont you think it would make it even worse if a player can pick up BOTH flags and do as he pleases with them?
Hell, he might even glitch/hide out of the map and the flag will stay there 'till the end of time...
Plus, friendly fire is NOT a solution for CTF. You already end up hitting your teamates during normal play. Being able to kill everyone, will be catastrophic.
Not to mention that rocket spam....

I thought those glitch you mention were extinct.
Anyway, everybody here seems to put more effort into finding problems rather than finding solutions. You talk like *every* player that joins were gonna do that, the question here in fact is what to do with the exception? mhm... I don't think that somebody be that skilled to take the two flags at the same time and troll both teams, if that's the case why not make the carrier vulnerable to Friendly Fire? Is all I can think of ATM. The rocket spam, is mostly from the own base to outside, so there is no need of cat reflexes to avoid them while spawning and getting outta your base, if you're coming back with the flag.. that's a problem indeed :/ you better be wearing the megasphere...
What I don't like here is that we may be skipping gamemodes because of, fear of newbies? |

Do not implement any gamemode from now on since everyone is playing DBzone and LA worlds only (which are, in fact, full of trolls who toss you into damaging sectors). |

yeah Cybershark I agree, also admins, don't waste your time promoting WNF and stuff like that since nobody play it, ZD community isn't worthy of new gamemodes but, why didn't you think about that at the time they were doing DDOM and KOTH too?
I don't care about it anymore, I'll be in LA World if anyone wants to come up to race with me. |
