Would it be too difficult to implement the mix flats and textures feature?
Not really a big deal, just a convenience for mappers, and might help to keep file sizes down a bit.

Requested this one before; apparently it would require a lot of effort. D: |

Flats are rendered differently from normal textures, so the renderer has to be changed to accomodate this feature, and we know how much of a mess that thing is. :p
I'm really only in favor of this because it would be great to have larger flat sizes, but at the same time I hate how it introduces bad mapping practices, where someone makes a "vanilla" wad and uses textures on floors and flats on walls. |

As Op-Cow says, it prevents a lot of duplication of resources. And it'd make a lot more Zdoom stuff compatible!
But then I've lived without all this time, and can continue to do so, and anything Zdoomy that relies on such a mix can be patched to work *shrug* |
