Hi!

I noticed a minor bug. If you pick up the light amplification googles and it is still on, so the brightness is everywhere 255 and then while it is ON, you pick up the invulnerability sphere, when the invulnerability starts blinking, it alternates between the white and the original light, not between white and 255.

It should blink between white and light 255.

Otherwise when the blinking finishes, the light goes back to 255. That's why I think this is a bug. And because it works between white and 255 in ZDoom as well.

Here a demo wad:
light_amplification_goggles_invulnerability_test1.wad

And a screen capture video of vanilla Doom (doom2.exe in DOSBox):
light_amplification_goggles_invulnerability_test1.mp4

So in vanilla Doom the behaviour is like you described.
You are right, it looks inconsistent, but it's vanilla behaviour.
So for ZDaemon it makes sense to keep the vanilla behaviour, that's why it's moved to closed (and will not be changed).
