It would be really nice if this problem was resolved.

I created a little demo of the problem. But it works with any other textures with heights like: 72, 96 etc..

According to this topic : https://forums.zdaemon.org/viewtopic.php?t=15480 , this isn't a zdaemon bug. It's the way texture rendering works in the original Doom engine.
This is called the Tutti-frutti effect.

This topic is a duplicate feature request then.

Oh... I see. Then question is: How strongly does the ZDaemon insist on the vanilla features?

That feature request is in pending, not in rejected.

This one is a duplicate btw, and should not be in bug reports imo
