After Krawa suggesting Heretic last week and Cybershark reminding me about the existence of the game too, I think it's time to give this a go. So there we have it, Heretic!

SETTINGS

Game Mode: Cooperative
IWAD: Heretic
PWADs: None

Maps: 48 (E1M1 - E6-M3)
DMFLAGS: 71385124 / 269969424
Skill: 3 - Ultraviolence
Timelimit: None
Killlimit: None
Players: 50/50

Session times

On friday, the 13th of january 2012:

The European session starts at 21:00 GMT+1
The US session starts at 01:00 BST / 20:00 EDT (that's 00:00 GMT)

See you there! Wink

Could you possibly have posted this up any later? It's really not worth the effort if no-one is going to see it before the event kicks off. But hey, I do note that you've gone and got next week's up in plenty of time. So that's good Smile

As for the selection? IWAD Heretic with tons of players, respawn items and no tougher monsters? Seems a bit limp to me. That was why I specifically suggested something more challenging, like Cuppy's work.

Anyways, I wasn't around for this one - did it get many (non-AI) players?

Got boring fast because it was so easy. The Euro session had a decent amount...maybe 10 people but with one guy rushing the whole map it was pretty pointless to try to play.

You are absolutely right and I intend to announce these sessions in advance, like I have done for next friday.

Ah yeah, I have a hard time putting on the right settings sometimes, so Í change those on the fly sometimes. This time, I asked Krawa for DMFlags, but apparently these weren't challenging enough. Not putting the blame here on Krawa, because I love him and if I was a girl I would want his babies. But that's another discussion. Í'm open to suggestions when it comes settings, so if you or anybody else has any suggestions to make, they're free to post them.

It did get a lot of players, but what are non-AI players? Surprised

I did get to wondering if you might need some help with the FMMs. I'm in no way qualified to give it, but there are real co-op know-alls out there (like Dewww or BotsKnightmare). And again, if you only post the event details up 5mins before it goes live, it doesn't give anybody much time to check your settings Wink

Real players (as opposed to your rontarded bots).

You don't need to be qualified to make suggestions. And I know you a little bit longer than just today Cybershark and you do know me a little longer than that as well. And I'm sure you know that I appreciate and respect your opinions, suggestions etc regarding anything on this forum.

And yes, it did get a lot of human players!

I get that you respect my opinions, but I just don't have any as far as co-op goes. I just don't play it often enough to know what's good!
