This week's co-op ZDS will feature a pack of maps titled "The Oozing Affair", set in the Chex Quest universe. It takes place somewhere in between the events detailed in Chex Quest and Chex Quest 2.

Dispatched by the Intergalactic Federation of Cereals to eliminate the Flemoid menace, the Chex Warriors have been engaged in an arduous campaign against the gooey interdimensional maruaders for months. The Flemoids appear have amassed in greater numbers than ever before in the mountain ranges of Bazoik. Hesitant to employ the use of the uncivilized Wheaties mercenary forces (which happen to have just a terrible effect on PR), the Federation has deployed the remnants of its force of Chex Warriors to push through the slimed facilities on Bazoik and eliminate the Flemoid occupiers. Maybe, just maybe, breakfast can be made safe again for the galaxy...

Game Mode: Cooperative

Maps: 9 (E1M1-E1M9)

Second pic looks awesome! But what Cuppy is too shy to come out and say is that these maps are his very own little Chexy babies. I've played the first half of the pack and it's great!

Damn, you guys are so spoiled, what with Chex this week and then with ********** next week! Cool

No need to panic, it'll be happening on Saturday, June twenty-five. You still have time to get a bowl, spoon, and decide whether you're a 2% or skim milk type of person.

Also, Cybershark, looks like the forum software might've bleeped you out? We try to keep it a family show around here. Wink

Razz

But maybe Tai's confusion stems from the fact that we are currently in the month of June?

Sometimes ZDS threads enter a time vortex and they need to be tracked down, tagged, and bagged. And did someone mention #200?

There seems to be a distinct lack of pump-up-edness for tonight's event Sad

C'mon, I know next Saturday is still a week off, but how often do we see a PWAD for Chex?!

The date and time were in the OP - although yes, Cuppy did initially get the month wrong. But as ZDS occurs at the same times on every Saturday night of the year then it shouldn't exactly be hard to figure out... Laughing

This was great fun in the wee small hours of the morning. It had a different enough feel from run-of-the-mill co-op and it was fun to play it with tougher monsters - it should really get a survival server of its own.

There was one map which kinda sucked though. Somebody blazed through it in mere seconds iirc?
