This can't be done as PrBoom is licensed under GNU General Public License (GPL), so its code is not compatible here.

Worst: this would apply if the code was copied. Nothing prevents us from writing hud code on our own and make the result look like something else (look and feel is not copyrightable). I'd have no argument against such a request, but as whiteboy indicated, the priority is real low. Furthermore... if we go to this trouble, we may as well follow prior suggestions by chaindude and fx02 and make the hud far more customizable. So whiteboy, I say we accept it, but it won't necesssarily be the same as prboom's hud: it might, but it might also be something more customizable. We'll figure it out when the time comes. And it should not take the place of more important stuff.
