Oh my ears and whiskers, I'm late
So no time for hows and whyfors or 'look at what we could have run'. It's straight down to business with an oldish WAD which was only very recently suggested by Konar. TinyDM (not to be confused with tinyHUGErolandCOOP) was created entirely by dA g0dFad3R which is a novelty in itself as 'all' he usually does is run a shitload of servers and occasionally compiles other people's maps. So it was always going to be interesting to see what sort of maps he'd come up with. The answer is that they're very much from the Surge/Overload school of design - that is they're small in scale and quite often very symmetrical. And did I mention they're quite petite?
As usual then player numbers are as high as seems remotely sensible. I think this should be fast, fun and frantic

A cool set of small maps providing fast, even frantic gameplay, a big fragfest without heavy weapons, no searching for your opponents or playing a waiting game.
Who the hell compiles maplists for ZDS though, some maps are missing from the list. Anyway, *makes a big note to not forget on ZDS*.

Darn, that sucks man. I hope everything will turn out to be ok for you and your dad. I wish you two the best of luck.

Don't worry about that right now man. It's obvious your attention is needed elsewhere.
Anyway, I'll be there to kick it off this week for the European session. I've never played this wad before, so who knows, it might be interesting. I'm looking forward to it anyway! |

That's absolutely the last thing you should be worrying about. And I hope things turn out to be better than they sound.

Two maps - which looked a little too confined to work well. But I added in maps 31 and 32 so it balances out! |

And maps 16–30?
Oh and I forgot to praise the music used in this wad in my recent post. There are just a very few wads I play with music on - one of them being tinydm. |

16-30 are copies of 1-15 except with powerhouse weapon placement.
Best wishes, Unfy. |

Some were enjoyable. A couple had great height variation worked in to the design.
Box maps can be acceptable when mixed in with other complex maps. They lose their charm when you pile them all on top of eachother. |
