ROCK THE VOTE!
A common misconception about the ZD Sessions - often from myself included - is that every week we simply have to run something that's never been seen or played before. That's not true of course, the only mandate is that we keep it fun and varied with stuff that never caught on in a big way or fell out of favour. As such then once we hit the big 1-0-0 then we could simply 'repeat the playlist'.
That's not gonna happen of course, but I do want to take a week to dwell on some of the things that have been run here and deserve another shot. But they are many so I'd like to do something different again this week and... well, if you saw the poll at the thread-head then I guess I don't have to explain any more
We'll be pretty much playing them the same way that they were when they were run before, but tightening up maplists and DMFLAGS. EternalDM didn't work so well for teamdeathmatch so that'll just be plain FFA, while ABCDMv4 and ShinFFA2 are offered as TDM instead so as to adequately cover all gamemodes.
P.S. If there's something you think I missed which is dire need of a repeat play then, well I probably didn't miss it but go ahead to clamour for it in the suggestion thread
EDIT:
Session finalised - skip ahead to the winner.

One curious thing about 4-way is that zd_4way5 is a refined 20-map version that I did some time after the original 30-map one...yet the zd_4way5 used on #29 was the 30-map one. |

MadCTF was a really interesting and fun wad with odd architecture and texture work. I voted for it. |

Cybershark, if you run zd_4way, please use the zd_4way5 WAD, and not the zds4way, considering the latter has a few good maps wiped out (and my favorite Jazz Jackrabbit Dreempipes MIDI).
EDIT: Ultimate Doomer, my zd_4way5 has 30 maps on it. Perhaps you're referring to zd_4way4 (which IIRC had the trimmed maps)?
It's not on my machine for some odd reason, and I can't seem to find it on the internet. Yay. |

I don't think zd_4way existed at all, since I don't have it on my hd (was called zd_4way5, and I missed the zds of it last year so I didn't find out back then). Anyways I renamed that version zd_4way6 and passed it to Shark. |

Well not that it's decided yet but I will be using the version Tuddles provided if 4way comes out on top. Yeah obviously it drops 10 maps, but losing one or two favourites there is a small price to pay for removing a lot of fluff and tightening up the pack immeasurably.
And wow, this whole poll thing has been a lot more poll-arised than I thought it'd be. There's more love for MadCTF than for FFA and co-op put together! But other than that it's a two horse race here. ShinFFA did tie with 4way at 7 votes but CTF has leapt into the lead again. Really this is very fun and I should do it more often |
