Okay, here's my teamplay map finally ready for testing. It's pretty simple but I've included a manual with it. It's way simpler than DeathTag and games should go much faster. Here's a couple pics:

Oops I forgot to mention you HAVE to play with monsters. They aren't in the arena but they are used to work the scoring mechanism. I forgot to put that in the docs to. Ah well.

That's cool, but the sad part is it wouldn't work right with Zdaemon. Sad

Why wouldn't it work right with ZDaemon? It should work fine.

really?!?! oops, that's a mistake. Why wouldn't they have monsters? I'll have to get on their asses about that. Smile

Before I started coding , i thought editing programs would be no problem now i show respect for coders like raider, its a hell lot of work just to add that feature

The texture combinations aren't good IMO. Also, the floorplan does not seem great. I like the UAC crates though.

scirmast: I didn't want to spend too much time on the smaller detail stuff just incase no one liked the level anyways. There's no point in working my butt off on maps that no one will play.

Shockwav3: thanks, I realize that the fewer players needed to play, the more it'll get played. It's hard to get 8 players together and play this stuff so unless it gets real popular and there's demand I'll stick to making 2v2 maps for now.

I'm going to have to make a major change for the next map I guess, I'll switch it over to coop play, and you'll have to turn on friendly fire damage. Then I'll put a different key in each base that the other team has to get, run back to their own base and score. It's a little more like capture the flag then. I'll also have to find out if there's an "all trigger" flag I can use with ZDaemon so I can use a scenery item to run the scoring mechanism. It works fine in Legacy, I had a couple 2v2 games yesterday and it wasn't bad. The level needs some playability tweeking but everything works like it should so I know the general concept works.

Well, it didn't for me. Sad So I used Skulltag instead and that worked fine.
The stupid thing is, it gave the "no camera" error while on single player.

I found a few bugs that should be fixed:

There are some invalid or null textures on your map

Player don't lose hp while walkin on a LAVA1 sector (is it supposed to do?)

There are 2 "wall-closed" sectors (When the player falls in it, he don't die but he stays in there with no exit)

Where are the guns?

Heh, yeah I know about the errors I just didn't have the energy to fix them before I asked for testers. As for the weapons you get them all when you spawn.

I might work more on this later but with the FreeDM project in full swing I just won't have time for a while.
