A co-op tourney would probably be more valid actually. |

Oh for sure what's more fun then standing in a corner, holding down the fire button, and not caring if you die since you can just hit the space key to start right up again? |

But seriously, either format could be whipped into something more challenging. With co-op then you would perhaps split up the entrants into teams of two and have them all go off and play through certain maps then compare their results with each other. They could be judged on kills, time taken, collective number of deaths or a mix of these. That sounds like a challenge to me! Or y'know, there's the whole survival mode now...
And even in the direst FFA setting then surely if someone can come out on top repeatedly then it proves ...something? |

An FFA tournament or a coop tourney could easily be done. I've suggested ways of doing it a few times. I'll go see if I still have the rules.
Whiteboy: Survival now makes coop just as valid competitively as any game mode.FFA is a great competitive environment as well, once you get away from Brit10. |

Yeah forgot about survival, that really is a legitimate way to make co op competitive. But FFA on the other hand is still just a spamfest depending on how many players you have. Four would be the ideal amount of people as opposed to six, if you guys were to actually go through with this. |

So if I suggest an altdeath ultraviolence E1 FFA tourney that'd still be a spamfest? Obviously not. Player numbers are an issue, sure. But so is the scale of the maps.
You could start out with something vast like EDM and then use smaller maps as the rounds progressed. But heh, I'm sure Thad has enough ideas. |

Why bother, Bazooka is the best FFA player ever and will destroy all who will enter--The FPS Eater. ¿Understand? |
