It's funny how map packs fall in and out of favour. TLSDM2004 always seemed more popular than this and you could still often find its L@P server full of non-Euros at weekends.

These days you're only likely to see people duelling on map13 of TLSD2004 or playing TLSXCTF. 2003 has dropped right off the server list Sad

Well here at ZDSHQ we don't allow that kind of thing, so let's dig it up, dust it off and warm up those railguns - TDM style!

    Game Mode: TDM
    WADs: TLSD2003
    stskins1a
    gayvox

    Maps: 15 (01-05, 07-16)
    DMFLAGS: 33838276/131073
    (283844/131072 for older server builds)
    Players: 12 (6on6 + 2 spectator slots)
    Teams: 2
    Timelimit: 8
    Skill: 4 - Nightmare
Teamscorelimit: 40 That's teamscore, not fraglimit!

    Date: Saturday March 7th 2009
Time: 7:30pm UK Time / 9:00 pm EST
    Locations: L@P / [TotalTrash]/Unfy

that logo looks like a stripper doing a handstand, with her legs /in stockings!/ spread wide and a funny face drawn on her buttcheeks.

Hehe.

Looks a bit too siliconeish to distract me from loosing big-willy-style . Laughing
Reminds me of Stevie Chase in her best years..

Started up the session with Worst. Let joined in soon after too, as usual. Smile Games were pretty good! We finished the entire rotation without me getting bored or being frustrated by the Railgun. Smile Except for the plane map though, that one was a bit too cramped and campy. Other than that, it was a nice Zdaemon Session for me. Very Happy

'zat all the feedback we got? Crying or Very sad

It did look like you guys were having fun in there and I'm glad the railgun didn't piss you off for once Ronnie.
Oh and thanks for being ready with the server even though I had things in hand! Smile

The US was a blast once again, we had such a good crowd that I skipped to the boxing ring map I'd left out of the rotation and we finished off with one of the two dogtag maps that are at the end of the WAD

...just a shame it was only me and EQ knew how to play dogtag Sad

9 out of 10 times I'm able to set up the server myself. But thanks for checking up on me in case I forget. Smile

Dogtag

My usual post-ZDS write-up: Yup that was fun with the railgun (surprisingly I was operating at a higher level of skill with that weapon than usual). A few maps were minimal in terms of gameplay but the overall style was pleasing. It was a nice series of games but I never quite got in the groove with the dogtag map. After camping out in the center for a while I started to get a gist of the basic strategy and could grasp what was happening. :=]

Aye, it'd be cool to see some modern dogtag maps made now.

Think 4way + ACS! Twisted Evil
