I'd like to take this opportunity to thank both Ragnarok and Draza for all the hard work they've done over the last year or two in keeping the tourneys running. It's unfortunate that neither of you have the time you once had and I hope you'll stick around if not to give out a few pointers along the way Razz

. It's a pitty it ended this way due to several circumstances, but it was nice while it lasted.

On a side note: has any of you spoken to Bones? He is responsable for the entire tourney section, including the European one, so apart from Raider I would definatley contact him as well.

I'd second that, I hear tell of a christmas map though, might be fun, I'll find out if it's happening or not :P

of course, the brackets can be readded once they are working again, it's not essential after all, but I'd daresay desireable Sad

Yeah i think it would be nice to keep the European Tourney scene going, i think many players are now wondering where to turn whilst the next ECL / EDL tournament is being brewed. There would probably be even more than 8 interested in partaking in a christmas one too. However this could raise an issue in itself too; Thus assuming that there would be no required 'skill' level if you like?

I'd like to wish our new admins the best of luck with this new age of European doom, let's hope they can bring the professionalism and the competences that Ragnarok and Draza brought whilst they were active.

we discussed this matter and thought we should start small and humble :) the brackets can be widened anytime if there's enough interest. consider it a test drive. if all goes well, we'll flood you with our carefully prepared ideas!

i've had some lengthy conversations with both my sidekicks /*cough cough*/ and we all had similar things in mind and i believe we should complement each other in a good way.
