Well all of a sudden my cleint is crashing in every game i managed to play one game before but all of a sudden it just crash's started happening last 2-3 days i haven't changed anything mabye i need to update certain drivers , i am running windows xp.


I thought it was only in the Game arena severs but it does it in the Nzdoom severs + others aswell today.

Any idea's?

I'm crashing a lot lately too, especially 1on1s.

Well i just played DooMBrIIngeR and it crashed after i got to frag's 4- 5

i haven't changed anything its just doing it atleast 3 times per match , i updated my direct x still nothing.. and its only 1on1's so far and ffa's haven't tried ctf/tdm

could be something not related to zdaemon eating up your memory. it just so happens that when zdaemon requires more memory, it tips the scale and it crashes.

crashing happens often to me, but its more like once a day rather than all the time.

It's been more server crashes rather than client crashes I've been noticing, must be something your end if you can't get a game going ryry.

Oh yeah, and where you been at, I've been back for a week and haven't seen you around #ubr, get your ass on there!

im sure its not memory in my case. i hardly ever go over 30% ram usage, and who would when u have 3.25 detected..mighht update dx and see how i go

I used to crash alot in XP (every "game"), but playing under Wine I can say I probably have never crashed. Penguin power, indeed.

How's it fare offline Ry? If you can play through some SP without it crashing then you can surely rule out any driver issues.

He's fixed it. Just reinstalled it. Wrong zdaemon.exe I think.

well i hope that's one game :/ still play a few more i try Single player mode a bit later on
