|
|
I tried getting my friend into ZDaemon about a few months ago.
It's been going fine until a couple of weeks ago he cannot login to the master server anymore, I tried a few things with his firewall and with his router.
But not really sure what else to try as he still cannot login.
Any suggestions? |

Usually because your IP address belongs to the same range of IP addresses that someone who has been banned is using.
Is your IP address static (always the same) or dynamic (changes every time you log on)?
If it is dynamic, you could be in a range ban.
If it is static, you have been singled out and banned from the master.
Have you by any chance used a lot of aliases or made a bunch of illegal login attempts lately, it could be an auto ban? |

It's not actually me who has the problem, i can log-in fine. it's just my friend, who lives about 2km away (dont know if that matters)
and no hes uses 1 nick, and i use 2 nicks. There is no message or anything just when he clicks login, the little window freezes for a few seconds and then says "cannot login to master"

What operating system does your friend use? I had the same problems with Windows Vista. My brother fixed it by editing the network settings. |

The only way this can be answered is if you check your friend's IP against the global ban list. Anything else is just a guess. |
