Accounts made just for a tourney = INSTANT DQ |

Ooh, good point Saber. In that case, I'm all for the noob tourney. Another hurdle however may be contacting each other, because it seems whenever there is a true noob in a tourney they have a hard time contacting. This just goes from my personal experience, feel free to prove me wrong again.
P.S. It would also put a lot of stress on the admins, cuz that would make 3 (or 4 if there is a Pro) tourneys to be taken care of. |

BTW, you've just copied this idea of the Euro Tourney threads! Go discuss it there. |

i thnk the tourney is great for ppl who think they have no skill at all.
As long as the ppl making noobs for tourneys are kept out of control then i will accept this idea. |

The only thing that really causes stress for the admins is having to chase people to play their matches. Late players and no shows cause the problems. If the admins didn't have to run around chasing players to contact their opponants, play their games, post their scores etc there would be more time to be able to do other tourneys. It's not so bad in Euro tourneys, most of our regular tourney players tend to play rounds fast (this month we've had a few bad players) which is why we've been able to have 3 ctf tourneys and a team tourney compared with the one US CTF tourney that took over 4 months and a lot of DQ to finish.
Players DQ for a no show without good reason get banned from the following months tournaments (including CTF, Team and Pro). Players who are no shows on a regular basis for no reason will be banned from entering tourneys on a permenant basis, this is all we can do to keep the tournaments enjoyable for all involved, and to allow slots for players who DO want to participate.
As you've probably noticed, Bones has tightened up on the DQ this month, eventually the players will get used to getting their matches in early |
