Yea, movement feels a bit jittery, but I only noticed it in first person camera. When viewed in chasecam, movement feels smooth. (tested with uncapped 60fps)

I get exactly the same thing with uncapped fps.

Another thing I get are blurred sprites upon camera turning (noticed it at least on monsters) when spectating someone; this might deserve a separate topic.

I noticed this too, when I played on 1.10 for the first time. It is not just floors, though - all player movements are sort of jittery. But it happens only if you have uncapped framerate enabled and only when you're playing online. My guess is this is interference between display framerate and server update frequency (which is roughly 35 fps). It would disappear if your display framerate would be an exact multiple of the server update frequency, but that's not currently possible.

It's something in uncapped: totally unrelated to netcode. We'll resolve it as soon as we can figure it out.

Just a little extra info

The jittering does not if occur:

- If weapon bobbing is OFF
- If the game is singleplayer
- If the framerate is capped

Not really fixed, but changes in 1.10.07 should help:

Code:

Added new setting "Viewheight Bobbing" and CVAR "movebobviewheight".
So it is possible to switch off up and down bobbing, but keeping
the weapon bobbing for the Doom look.
