Why is that so? Its an extremely old game anyway. And my laptop isn't so old. Also, wine-gecko doesn't exist in debian, wine-mono aswell I think. Could this be an issue? |

compare:
1- wine versions
2- xorg vga driver versions
3- kernel versions
I have a old box with last 32b arch (~2017) + wine 2.0 and I get lower FPS than in voidlinux + wine 5.3
Newer wine + newer xorg (Intel HD graphics 4400 here) give me near ~55fps boost.
Newer kernel give some extra FPS but not much ( ~3fps )
Disable vsync (xorg and zdaemon) helps too. (input lag)
Disable TearFree on xorg helps. (more input lag here)
So, the "easy way" is upgrade wine.
About wine-gecko/wine-mono: you can just ignore it.
It's only needed if you open the zdaemon's site/forum inside the zlauncher. |
