What about end Intermission when all players in intermission press "use"? So the players don't have to wait for the time-out. If at least one player didn't press "use" it will wait till time-out.
Spectators could be ignored.

Opinions?

Hi, I had not seen this thread before, however I 100% support adding this to ZDaemon similar to how its implemented in Zandro. The only thing I would change is make it so that spectators don't count in ending the intermission early. I believe that a lot of other competitive players would like to see this implemented too. Would you possibly reconsider this one?

For me personally its not needed. I sometimes can use the 20 sec's to stretch my fingers or just to relax a bit.

I only am wondering what would be a spectator, if they should be excluded.
In DM it can be a player that couldnt join because of player limit so he is a spectator that also wants to skip to next mapstart.
For Survival it can be someone who couldnt join in time because of a timelimit, or a killed player.

When is someone a spectator? and thus, which vote should be ignored when ignoring spectators..

I think it will be best if the system that Krawa suggested. 100% active players vote needed.

no idea how I got here but I would like a skip method since for me these seconds feel like ages.
@Flam, never saw you playing that stressful that you need a 20s brake Wink
@Aeyesx holy.... you can get to the toilet, pee and be back in 20s? hats off!

Maybe an option to change the intermission timer instead? So lets say from the current 20 seconds to maybe lower or high for those that need it?

Intermission time is 15 seconds and 20 seconds for team games.

With "sv_intermissiontime" it is possible to adjust the the intermission time from 3 to 300 seconds in private servers.
But keep in mind that no one can join during intermission.

Changes for 1.10.07:
Reducing intermission time is possible now when all players press use/fire.
Spectators and bots will be ignored.

So if you need full intermission time (e.g. Aeyesx sometimes) just don't press use/fire Smile
