Making a return after a month-long break and after several bug fixes and additions made to ZDaemon, the next hot-spot to flex your muscle memory to will be the classic ssl2! Settings will be Old School as ever, fraglimit will be a more standardised and enduring 50. If sign-ups max out and you still want to play then you may still get the chance by giving the following info: Name, Country, Availability, and preferred brackets (open or intermediate) - and if any no-shows or false sign-ups appear within the 1st round you can be considered to fill a spot there.
Bit of an interesting topic as to who made ssl2, cleared up a couple of years ago:

I got clarification from Ocelot that it was a friend of his who does not have an online Doom handle. His name is Erkka Ryynänen. It was a series of 4 wads that was made in Finland and was being played locally by their local group of players. It included either ssl.wad or ssl1.wad, ssl2.wad, there was an ssl3.wad which was never really finished, and an ssl4.wad. ssl2.wad was the only one that "made it" so to speak. |
