In vanilla DOOM, the height limit for a sector you could bump up against and pick up the item sitting atop was 56. In ZDaemon, with OS settings, the limit seems to be 55 units.

Seems legit, I remember not being able to do 56 high keygrabs on Plutonia 2 MAP03, Kama Sutra MAP19, etc... Now I know why! Razz

Just so i understand ... in this testmap i should be able to grab the RL in a similar fashion like the plasma bump in map01?

Right. In vanilla doom, it's easy. In ZDaemon, you can't grab it at all.

Not fixed yet (1.10.b08).
In ZD you just can get SSG (55 pixel), but not Rocket Launcher (56 pixel).
In doom2.exe you just can get SSG (55 pixel), and Rocket Launcher (56 pixel).

Chainsaw (57 pixel) is not possible to reach in ZD and doom2.exe, that's correct.
