This is an Invasion wad, which resembles to Invasion UAC a lil bit, and the admiration of which made me create a wad of my own. I'm still a beginner at mapping so you might find the maps not that much polished as in some of the other really good invasion wads around but hey, its always fun to try something new right? Smile

Wad is made for survival gameplay, but due to the presence of Zombie Railgunners and more bad-ass demons, it'd be quite fun to play it in Coop mode; Or if not, then survival with 3 lives or so just for the fun of it.

There are 8 maps so far. I'll be making more maps in the future.


MONSTERS:

Blood Fiend: Blood demon that shoot fireballs and does a significant amount of damage with his deadly teeth at close range.

Cacolantern: Did someone say Skulltag? Observe them carefully next time!

Belphegor: Looks more badass with these sprites.

Zombie Railgunner: Find some cover!

Lost and Forgotten soul: DooM 3 ROE Forgotten one skull demon

Super Shotgun Guy: SSG Beast zombie man


(Special thanks to UberGewei for the DeHacked work, as well as DehSupp and LoadACS scripting)


Some of the soundtracks for music I used are from DIB (Drown in Blood), TNTR, and Disjunct.

Let me know if you find any part of the maps buggy, or areas that can be improved. I'd really appreciate the suggestions to make these maps more better in V3, as I come up with more maps.

There's one bug in map05 that I'm aware of now lol
As players make their way out of the factory and towards the exit room, a layer of Cyberdemon is supposed to spawn. However, thanks to this bug, the Cybies keep on spawning everytime someone tries to reach the final room. This did not happen when I tested in ZDoom and not in ZD.

Now fixed in next version that I'm working on.

This bug apparently makes the level quite interesting :p It's just a matter of proper planning and cooperating with each other to exit. Or maybe RJ from the back sid..... *cough* *cough* Laughing

I feel the link no longer functions?? This is distressing to us. I would take a look at your work in SP mode at least, and I'm familiar with unforgiving survival gameplay conditions.

Perhaps we could presume to have a link provided please!

GetWAD however still manages to download it, so you can join the server and get the wad also.

ZDaemon already contain railgun.
You don't need to replace chainsaw.

If you are interested in more dehacking and adding new actors you can use DehSUPP.

Yeah, removed it for him recently.
Robert started working on this way back, ZDaemon did not contain a Railgun back then. Wink

Just played a big part of a long map with another player. It's not really suitable for survival with just one or two players. The map was fun to play, but it just takes too long with only a few players on survival, because you have to be cautious all the time.

Hi Ron, how are you doing?

This is a hardcore invasion wad, requiring lots of strategy and a bunch of players together to finish the levels. Indeed its very much time consuming with a small number of players. It will be hosted on a coop server as well soon.
