I was bored so i started converting this to zdaemon...
Curently is only first map done at 90%.
If anyone wan't to continue or help its free to do.

[Update 20.3.2018: removed dead links and pictures, further progress has been made tho. - Medis]

This is a great idea - presuming you have permission to convert it!

So far we really only have Prawnald's Invasion maps for ZD, and I wasn't really too fond of most of those Laughing

You need to lose all those unknown things - all the pickup spawns. Dunno why you didn't do that first? There's some logic error in there too, as I found a couple of times that there was a still a baron wandering around after it had told me the wave was over.

The thing I hate most about this project is that it follows that ST naming convention and is like "adl56fgd.wad". But that's just me - I prefer to see WADs with proper names in the server list Laughing

Hope you find some help, or will finish this on your own!

Well, not yet cuz i have no idea who author's are...
Unkown things are temporary, mean > They need to be replaced by map spawn spot's (this is messed up and need a lot of tweaks) and better configured for individual waves...
Barons walking around when wave is over is problem that i don't know how resolve (or maybie i try fix it somhow). Because i modified invasion ACS's from zdinv3.wad (yeah thanks author for that basic code), and sure we can rename it somehow Very Happy ^^

Sorry for the bump but I don't know if this project is still ongoing. I figured I'd give a message regarding the validity of this conversion:

Hi.
I'm the original project leader of both Alpha and Delta Invasion, and I just learned about this today from Alter. Convert it all you want, just give credit to the original authors and don't spam your name all over it.

Also, respect other authors wishes. If they don't want their maps converted then leave them out.

Well... I already converted 12 maps from dtinv: ALINV01 ALINV02 ALINV03 ALINV08 ALINV09 ALINV11 DTINV01 DTINV02 DTINV03 DTINV04 DTINV11 and DTINVSC.

All invasion scripts in ZDaemon works fine like in ST (the same algorithms).

I'll launch beta server in june. I hope Medis will have time to make a cool dehacked stuffffffff. Wink
