I don't think this exploit works anymore in 1.09 regardless of the wallrunning setting. |

It still does, and the wallrun DMflag doesn't impact the success.
This glitch is due to the engine itself! The Marine is a 32*32 square, the little connection between these two bases is 32 pixels large. It is usually not possible to get through a 32 pixels passage, except if you get the perfect angle and the perfect position to start running.
To achieve it easily, just play with the OS movement DMFlag, and just run up to the entry of this connection. Just go forward and keep jumping, you'll eventually get through like if you were going through butter.
Of course it does always work, no matter what the settings are, but the OS movement one makes it more or less easy to achieve.
The only solution to fix it as of yet: Modify the map or use a PATCHINFO lump to add solid things that will block the players. I definitely recommend the later as it does not require the original author's permission. |

I don't wanna be rude, but the rules should be summarized to a shorter version. Now when the zdaemon community booms a little (after my comeback hehe xdd </ego>) there might be a chance to actually complete this league. |

What kind of thing within the rules you think that should be removed/shortcuted?
Everything else has been thought before being announced, I can hardly take it back, and I'd avoid it if this slower down the progression. All that is formal with the rules is done. All that is needed to start up the league is previously posted in red.

Please be a little more patient, we prefer getting our website done before (with the big help of Kilgore).
Also, I need to know what people prefer, either a Clan registration or a proper Draft with captains election - knowing that the last one will take longer. And I don't think the Hybrid thing was a good idea, I'd prefer make clan only.
The league was not scheduled for April anyway. I had to start it too early.

Hey.
It's ok, I've found a way to disable the Overtime. . Here is a command for. Just hoping it'll be reactivated when the playoff starts.
Intoxicate @ I'm not sure. Basically there is 2 phases. Summer and Winters. Still we better start it sooner than in the mid summer. |

I wouldn't mind if you guys forget to turn it back on and we'd be forced to play tie-breakers. I sure prefer to win a 5-round battle, than fluke out via opponent having bad spawn AFTER being dead for seven seconds. Anyway, that rule is set, so I'm just hoping somebody will get terrible screwed in the playoffs and we'll have some rule changes for future seasons - along with implementing bo3 system instead of the two-rounders we have now. Or maybe I'll be proven wrong, time will tell.
Why I'm posting in the first place: I was wondering about the draft system. Is there gonna be a snake draft?
Aaaand one more thing I don't understand:

Yes, Gyrossman. 4 teams per group.
And yes we will use the snake drafts. First off, a random number generator will define the rounds.
Anyway since I've got help I'll re-work on the playoff part of the rules. We'll definitely remove the Overtime. I should have to make a poll post before deciding.
Also I'd like to avoid a team disqualification because of an unlucky flag. Supposing that all rounds results got tied.
