In 109 it is fixed that "block everything" even affects the Railgun.
For some wads e.g. cybercrime3 it is more fun when the Railgun can shoot through "block everything" lines.
That ruins the tactic of some maps Sad
So the suggestion is to make a dmflag to change to old behaviour. Default could be new behaviour.

Implemented for b28.

Not as a dmflag, but instead as a new CVAR with its default value being the old behaviour, so cybercrime3 should work as it used to without anything needing to be adjusted Razz

Code:
Added a "zdoom_blockeverything" CVAR. When enabled, for lines with
the BLOCK_EVERYTHING flag it will block some weapon attacks such as
the railgun shots and bfg tracer rays. For such lines it will also affect line
sliding (bumping and wallrunning). It also affects some monster attacks
such as the arch vile attack, and monster sight checks going through such
lines. The CVAR defaults to false.
