Hi.
I wanted to bind weapons to numpad keys, so I added those lines to zdoom.ini:
Code: | kp1=slot 1
kp2=slot 2
kp3=slot 3
kp4=slot 4
kp5=slot 5
kp6=slot 6
kp0=slot 7 |
But it worked only for slot 5.
I've been told that this is a very old zdoom problem. Please fix it! |

sorry about the late answer! set the cvar i_remapkeypad to false. that will make it work in the current releases.
i'll check what the later zdoom versions did in that part of the code still. |

ok so it seems that zdoom just removed the cvar and made the keypad bindable always.
not a fan of that solution because the remapping can be useful for someone that likes to use the arrow keys and pgup/pgdown.
i made it remap the keys depending on the numlock state for b27. that means that when numlock is on (as it should be for most users) you can use the keys when binded and when numlock is disabled you can use the arrow keys and so on.
moved to features since it technically wasn't a bug |
