|

Ok, I've been having some weird problems with Zdaemon recently.
Servers take quite a while to load. I cannot refresh them. When I tell it to refresh, it acts as if the server went offline. ZIRC works, but upon loading Zdaemon, it first fails to connect, then connects. I've never had this issue. It all connects, but takes longer than it should.
I've reinstalled Zdaemon 4 times and nothing was fixed.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I also get "Cannot Connect To Master Server" occasionally.
EDIT2: Now I cannot connect to the IRC at all... |

Did you download the latest ZD and IRC from the homepage? |

I've used the same net for ZD for years. No issues up until recently, so shut up.
Now, I do have the latest of ZD and ZIRC installed. I did a clean install of it last night as well. No luck.
I mean, it'll work but it takes a few tries to make it work.

Lets try and keep this civil shall we?
Could it be a firewall issue or have you recently installed something on your computer that might be somehow affecting it? |

Sounds like ISP propblems. had same issue awhile back unitl they changed some software or reset something and it came right... because before i had to use "dail up-hell" query speed. as if i was to use my normal one "insane" it would only load like 40 severs... |

I think it's definatly internet issues. I know if I ever have a bad connection I lose alot of servers in the list and am forced to refresh it all. If it's only happened recently maybe something recent has happened to your internet or maybe someones doing something on it? |

I'm going to power cycle my network sometime tomorrow to see if it fixes it. |

Hey there Tye, while I could be mistaken, I think you posted something similar to this on the skulltag forums. If this is the case, then something is definitely up with your internet provider. If power cycling your network doesn't fix the problem, I'd contact your internet provider and have them take a look at your connection. |

Yo tye I was being serious when I said it sounds like your internet sucks and as it turns out I was probably right. That being said, I wasn't trying to be offensive or piss you off but tens of thousands of internet-based things seemed to go along that had no affiliation with each other whatsoever - sounded like net problems to me. |

That's why when I connect to ZD I average 50-200 ping? I don't lag on anything at all.
This is even when I'm running a PS3, 360 and 2 computers all going at once. The computers are usually downloading something as well. |

What was said was due to his rude comment. I'd realize it was my net sucking if that was a fact. But it's not.

That attitude won't get you anywhere, don't bother with it otherwise you won't get any help.
When you attempt to connect, are you using a manual preset, or are you automatically joined upon logging in to the launcher? |
