when I log on to zdaemon, a couple of servers load as my refresh bar begins to fill, then it stops without loading, and i am forced to exit with task manager. Can someone help Question My IRC doesn't connect either.

Are you using the latest version? Download this update: http://lupus.keystone.gr/zd-20100319.zip and try.

Is that the same version thats on the main page Konar? I was curious because I can't tell if I have the most up to date ZD either, as I play mostly the skulltag servers. (Not because of preferance everyone, so don't freak out, its just that when I'm on IDE, mostly ST servers have people in them.)

get the latest client with win 7 / z_malloc / server refresh and several other crash fixes.

PS: it is not the same version as the one on the main page!

hmmm... I still get the same problem. Am I updating correctly?? I extracted the zip folder and replaced all of the old files with the new files. I've never had to do it that way...in the past I always just downloaded the install file and installed the program... Evil or Very Mad

On the top of the launcher go to Settings / Severs / Query Speed ( Slower )

Try changing it to a lower refresh rate so if that helps you

It didn't work, it actually made my refresh bar stop a lot faster...I even tried every speed setting on the list...i found out today that if i let it try to load, it will timeout after loading about 90 of the servers on zdaemon...but none of my buddies show up and i can't chat in irc. I can play in the servers that load though... Confused

I recall having similar problems when on a bad connection. Could it be a packet loss issue?
