This map was made by myself only (Titanium was made by Pipi, idea was mine), it is absolutely different than previous map, bigger, more tricks, maybe campy. It is not something special, but playable (tested 1on1) for sure. I used typical dwango/entryway textures, OS feeling you know
Here it is, thanks for the opinions...i will make a txt soon

Dude... did you not read what I wrote in your last thread about FatHax?
See when someone finds this thread a few months from now then FatHax files will still be there |

Eh..
Honestly, I know this will come off as harsh, but after all this is the review section so I'll give some feedback.
There are a lot of novice mapping flaws in here, which is to be expected for someone who is new to mapping (I'm assuming you are) so no worries there. There are tons of textures out of alignment, bad flat-to grid placement and just a lack of creativity in some of the flat and texture transitions. There are far too many cramped spaces and weapon balance simply doesn't exist. The only thing I didn't really see was how spawns are placed.
To elaborate on some of the feedback now:
As I said with some of the texture alignments: that just comes with experience and learning how to properly work it and the mathematics behind it. With some of the flats, you kind of just cut them off, which isn't a problem if you manage to make it work by adding more detail to it or anything of that manner. There's also flats that transition from one to another poorly. A tip for that is to create different floor height values so it looks a little more realistic and just better.
I can go on all day about things I don't like, but everyone does have different taste and that's okay. The only thing I am pointing out is that there are ways to make some of it look better. Quite honestly, I encourage you to continue because in time, you'll improve. It's all about the experience you gain and the work you're willing to put in to get better. Don't let this post discourage you, continue to map because I do see a lot of what you're trying to do, it's just lack of experience and understanding that isn't bringing it out to it's fullest.
So overall, I'll give it a 4/10. |

you mean this ?
The text file would be better if you included gameplay settings too. Don't worry about it, just remember next time
Oh and just so you know if you're gonna do more of this stuff:
http://wadhost.fathax.com/ is the place where a lot of authors put their work. Just ignore the parts about using .RAR or .7Z
SuperNova: yeah true, those spaces are too big and empty, but when i tried to do it smaller, it was not playable. This version is bigger but playable. When i made this map, it was the first time when i launched doom builder 2. Atm. iam making another map, imo better, smaller. Anyway thanks for your feedback. |

Yeah, just work on your texture alignment. Both the silver and STARTAN2 stairs look poor because the lower textures of each step don't align with the others. You have several big texture changes happening in this map. That in itself isn't a bad thing, but here it just looks like you put two different colors of wallpaper right next to each other. It would look better, for example, if you separate them a bit. SUPPORT3 is good as a border texture when you feel you need to change your colors in a new room.
The lighting also felt same-ish throughout. Some of those areas with the texture TEKGREN5 or flat GRNLITE1 could be a touch more bright than the others. Flickering light sources and dim rooms here and there are always cool too. |
