This is a good weapons mod, especially for you being new. How did you get the chainsaw replacement to shoot the railgun shot in deHacked? I can't figure it out.
Once I get my new internet connection I'll host a deathmatch server with this wad. |

the codepointer you need is A_FireRailgun, which DeHacked doesn't have, so just put something else there as a placeholder and change it manually in XWE once you have the DEHACKED lump in your WAD |

Back on topic...
The mod's pretty decent, I like the sounds, the graphics are alright except for
pistols and the rail which could use some reworking the pistols are too gritty at
the tops and the rail is kind of obscure, doesn't really seem like any
sort of weapon at all more like a huge flashlight of death. Additionally it
seems out of theme, shouldn't it be held off to the side like the rest of
the guns?
I didn't really want to comment on the gameplay so much, but I will.
The plasma fires pretty fast, as a designer I love it,
its more like a beam than some pellets of light. that being said, the gamer
in me doesn't know how well that'll go over the plasma is a pretty powerful
weapon if you use it right. Also the rocket launcher inexplicitly fires really
quick too, however this isn't as big a deal as the rockets travel
at the same speed as it did before.
One last thing, the SSG is awesome, all around. The sound, the graphic, and yeahj st great. Thats my thoughts, pretty cool man. |
