This week's (wonderously late) presentation comes by request - y'know, rather than being some totally random crap that I decide to foist on you. It's kinda already been in a ZDS - well sorta. Ok, so me and Cupboard played some of the maps together one night Razz

Sniper109 and Zero-X came up with a fun re-telling of E1 with some nicer looks, some tougher (Doom2) monsters thrown in and some totally original shtuff too. As can be expected then - like last week's ZDS - this only runs to 9 maps but once again it's a case of quality over quantity. Indeed it's already found itself a small fanbase, with Kruk running it on one of his servers. If you like stuff like Wonderful Doom then you should be quite happy here too. And as a plus this one runs on Doom2.WAD instead of requiring the original (which people always seem more reluctant to beg, borrow or patch).

    Game Mode: Co-op
    WADs: KDiP
    25marinepack2_b

    Maps: 9 (01-08,31)
    DMFLAGS: 4390948 / 491201
    Skill: 3 - Ultraviolence
    Timelimit: No
    Players: 8 (+2 spectator slots)
    Voting: Kick + skip
Other: Reset map on empty server

    Date: Saturday 2nd May
Time: 7:30pm UK Time / 9:00 pm EST
    Location: L@P/XXX / Unfy/NODE-3

As always then everyone's welcome! Very Happy

WTF? You have flags like Telemissiles! And infinitely tall actors is just plain suck in multiplayer. I did base the DMFLAGS on yours but 'm pretty sure the ones I picked are slightly more OS Smile

Heheh yeah I figured I'd start varying those header images a bit more Smile

Cool levels. I liked the new and original parts of the levels that were in there. Most of the remade parts were different enough to still be interesting though.

Well yeah... what did you expect? But it wasn't like Wonderful Doom or Tuomio's The Dead Lives as it had some fun twists like the non-E1 monsters and the additional weapons.

...not that we got much chance to appreciate the weapons on Saturday. Sorry that I ballsed up the item respawn DMFLAG guise.

Thanks to NoStar for saving the day for the US with a server that I could mess with the settings on.
