i have just jumped on the bandwagon of zblood and its strangely addicting steampunk theme. i was wondering if this was based on a movie, who made the wad and what the back story is. |

I was kinda disappointed after finding out zdblud was a COPY of the actual game. I thought it was a mod or something inspired the game Blood. But meh, lol. |

Nah, it's remarkably true to Blood itself, which is quite a feat for the Doom engine. I suspect if it's still in development by the time polyobj support shows up, it'll become even truer.
...don't think this belongs in ZDR, though. |

I have been checking that the pistol burning effect it's not working in online gameplay, this is going to be solved in 1.09? |

As far as I remember, the ZBlood version I played had a revolver in its place. The flare pistol was in a high resolution patch that didn't work on ZDaemon due ZDaemon not having support for the DECORATE lump. |

Is not so complicated if you install a "helper"program for dosbox. Try to download D-FEND.... DosBox Frontend[/b] |

Have you tried to run INSTALL.EXE? |

If its already installed, then punch something like
"Mount <Whatever letter you want> <Path to Blood folder>\"
So it would look something like
"Mount X C:\Blood\"
I'm not sure how you get over the obstacle concerning folders with spaces in the names, so I moved my folder somewhere else.
Then you type
"X\Blood.exe"
Sometimes it doesn't work, for some reason case sensitivity kicks in, or something. Worse come to worse, I restart DOSbox and remount the folder. |

kk got it to work, rocks, much better than zblood
whoever made zblood could have done a better job, i mean, really, there were no polyobjects at all! zblood could have looked alot better with swinging and sliding doors, ect. |
