I'm making a dwango5 map01 mod for the dwango2k4, so far I've replaced the chainsaw with a beserk, it'll still be annoying to pick up, but at least you get full health, put the chainsaw infront of the exit, to slow down campers, moved the deathmatch start onto of the rock thingy outside to the side of the rock thingy so you don't instantly get killed with the BFG when you spawn. What else can I do to make it better? |

I have to agree with Rob, here. Just moving around items in a map doesn't exactly make it original or better. |

Tip: If you're getting fragged by the BFG when you respawn, quit pounding the button and wait for the shot to go off before you leap in. |

See that why I RTFM , and realise shooting the bfg at nothing is useless.
Dont expect me to shoot when u dont respawn , i have my speakers up to hear the respawn noise |

Map 1 of Dwango 5 is my fave map but there were some ennoyances i had so i made a modified version too called Dwangkah. When i asked what ppl felt could've been nicer i hardly got any decent response. I Agree there's no point to change a map that is allready good. I don't mind the BFG either but i kicked it out for multiplayer purposes. What i tried to do is simply make the map more balanced in terms of fairness. People seem to fail to realize this when they play it. I added a spawnpoint for more balance and to reduce spawn frags. I replaced the BFG with a bezerk pack. And since a lot of times i missed the SSG as they are differently positioned at spawnpoints i made it so that you pick it up after a spawn. Last but not least i also removed the secret rocketlauncher and ammo. I believe it improves overall gameplay but i'd like to hear solid based comments on this. |

Dwango5.wad + nobfg.wad is balanced enough for my tastes, although it is somewhat annoying when you spawn, your first instinct is to run forward, and the weapon is right behind you. |

What secret rocket launcher and ammo? I've never found these! Could you explain a bit further? |

Like Ralphis said. In the pillars. For some reason without jump flag set you can only get the ammo. I'm surprised so few ppl have discovered it.
You can test Dwangkah on my server which usually is online after midnight CET. Still like to hear more comments.
