1. I have a problem when I start my server with the ping. I had also speak on this problem. I started with IDEv3.40, port 10666. I don't download other files. I deactivate my firewall. I use ADSL internet. My PC is connect with a HUB on my modem.

Why escalate the serverping when connect more than 2 players my server & all players disconnect & timed out?

1. My modem can download 40.0KB/s or when it's fast 70-90KB/s, is the only what I can say at the moment about my connection. I started the server with ZDaemon Server Launcher - Lite 1.3.0.0, but it's the same problem when more than 2 players connect my server.

1. Thank you. I don't know how fast my internet can upload, but I ask a man that know this maybe & tell you about my internetconnection upload rate and a bit more about my download rate.

When this is the problem, what can I do to make the ping lower?

What can I else do to make the ping lower, do you know something more?

If your upload rate is slow, like below 20KB p/s or 200kbps then any more than maybe 4 players will give some nasty lag to ay participants.

If the clients see the "Connection Interrupted" message, then a CPU/memory problem is *far* more probable than a network problem.

What are your machine's specifications (CPU, memory, operating system, other programs running) ? also what values do you use for timelimit and fraglimit (or teamscorelimit) ? it's a *really bad* idea to use 0 and 0.

etc.

Do you must know something more?

about 576kbps will get you 6 players. notice that its in kilo-bits-per-second (kbps) not -Kilo-Bytes-per-Second (KB p/s) which would be 57.6 KB p/s

with 100kbps down rate you can push a 1 on 1. Your upload wont matter because now its your down rate thats limiting it.

If one stream is lower than another then the lower stream is restricting the other stream. If they were both equal then it'd be fine, but it's not. Anyway, Try hosting a 2 player server.

1. Ok. I can't hosting a 2 player server, because the players "timed out" after a moment. Irrelevant how many players are in the game, all "timed out" after a moment. You can test it. When you want, start ZDLauncher.exe & search my server. The name of my server is "WCv06". I'm ever in the server, but when i'm not there, i'm spectating. What I don't understand is, that you not have answer on the question:

"whould it be useful, when I could have a 200kbps upload connection?"?

You have not write, if it is useful or not?

Thank you for your help.
