This is a remake that I made. It is a fast paced 1-on-1 DM.
It can be downloaded from http://doom.dogsoft.net (as Fuloser.zip) or you can connect directly to Dwango United - NJ#18 and let ZDaemon get it for you.
Optimal settings for this wad is:
DMFLAG 1 = 2297956
DMFLAG 2 = 287744
Time Limit = 0
If these flags very it may cause the plasma bump to be to easy and can create many unwanted plasma grabs. This will make sense to you when you play the map.
(Note the switch to lower the BFG is on a pillar near the exit door. Note in actually gameplay it is very hard to actually grab and use the BFG.)
Feel free to host this wad on your favorite servers.
Enjoy!
5/28/09 Updated download and server information.

Very nicely done. It has a good layout, and is perfect for 1 on 1. |

Yeh, I really like this map. The layout is really something nice to look at, very cool dwango style, and it just reminds me of Greenwar. This map looks really good, and I think it also will play good, although it is pretty small it would be pretty good for 1on1.
Only one thing is, I think you need to make some little more hallways or at least some combinations, because now it is really easy to guess where someone goes. Maybe in the green hallways, you have a little room that is a dead end. Put there a teleport that teleports you to the upper level outside. I think that would be awesome.
I give it a 8.5/10. A very good map.
Keep on mapping! |

This map had a very quality feel to it. I played it against the WAD's author, and only lost by 5 (I think). To me this shows that it's a pretty easy to learn map, but it has a great flow and very classic feel to it. I enjoyed it. |

Looks great, but is there a reason why everything is ticked "Multiplayer"? It's a multiplayer map, so it doesn't seem necessary. At first, I didn't realize there were any weapons in the map. Sigh... peeves.

I had everything ticked multiplayer because i was having issues with items not showing up in the testing phase.
Im sure I just have a wrong setting in my doom builder.
It is a little small of a map, but that is what keeps the fast pace of the map. It's definately not a run and hide map, but there are many strategies we have found that can be played.
Some people like to play on the top ledge by the stairs so they can take shots thru the window. You can also do a window jump off of that ledge and land near the boomstick.
The spawn on the ledge with the rocket launcher and the ssg that is on the same wall as the bfg lift: You can spawn up there and do an SR-50 jump to the opposite ledge where the staircase is. Just takes a little practice and its a very deceptive and confusing move because the other player will run out into the opening and wonder where the hell you went as you come down the stair case behind him
There are also 4 different paths you can take after you hit the switch and succesfully grab the bfg, can you find them all? |

I too like spacy maps.
(Look at the ctf map i made).
Doom is fastpaced. Thats why it sucks to have maps with tiny stairs you bump into when you are running fast.
Like the above mentioned there are a lot of reasons why i think maps should always be a little bigger then usual. |

My server name has changed.
It is now:
Dwango United - Fuloser (chicago) - [map]
People tell me the server runs well.
Give fuloser.wad a try to |

I only turn music on for special occasions like The Floating City or whatever it's called and TLSXCTF, but to stay on topic this map really doesn't look that bad, although I've never played it. I tried it in Zdoom and saw no weapons, but I suppose it has to be played multiplayer for them to appear. |

I looked at the map alone once and saw no weapons as well, it is a good map though but I got my ass beat on it first time around cause I was too high to realize all of my movements and spawns were completely predictable... Very nice map fuloser, true OS style |

Thanks, I am planning on making a map 2.
Sry for the weapons not appearing in single player, I accidentally tagged all of them for multiplayer. Been years sense I have done map editing so...hehe. |
