Here's my idea:
Players put their name on a list, and then the zdaemon public gets to vote on say... the top 8 or 10 players. The two top vote-getters become captains of their respective teams, and the rest of the players either get random assignment to teams or the captains take turn selecting a player one by one. So it'd either be a 4v4 or a 5v5, depending on how big you want the tournament to be.
I'm not sure if there would be more or less interpersonal drama due to there not being teams formed amongst friends but instead through selection... but I guess that's something to consider.
Any viability in this? |
I don't see anything in there mentioning region vs. region, state vs. state, boys vs. girls, eastcoast vs. westcoast...
which makes the last, ohh, three pages completely.. odd. |

I would definately vote for my man Hero, but because he has the [TC] tag now, everyone automatically assumes he's a hacker. So are you guys always blind and fail to realize someone's skill until they put a controversial tag on?

Never really saw U3's CTF team, but I do remember the old HC... I remember UD crushing them without trying. You should have been going for UD like what the old HC was doing in their own match against UD. |

I am U3's ctf team. We were FFA specialists, and only I delved deeply into the realm of see tee eff. Anywho, I am still waiting for some sort of balloting and the like, if such an idea were to take place.
And Also Fred, apart from myself and Avatar and Batlin, we got Krash (I think) and Bag_Of_Schwag (I think). Although I still could beat you alone

The Truely old HC was Marine Ghost Tai and me I do believe when the HC match against UD happened I had already left HC. I don't know how it would have turned out if I was there, but regardless of that I would like to see this thing go down still. kthxbye |
