Yeah it works out-of-the-box in the newest wine (just tested 1.3.24, I'll edit) but the mouse is handled different in the latter, so I stick with the former.
Hmm? It seems like this would be somethin ...

I'll give this a try, but if I'm not able to get a Linux binary for it then I doubt it will keep me around long.

You won't be missed... Good riddance.
So you're either saying that you don't care a ...

Stuff like this makes me absolutely sick and pissed off.

I'd say just lock the parents away in a cold, dark cell and never feed them. Cheap and excruciating.

For Doom in another language, I'd keep an eye on Mochadoom. Which is already pretty damn playable and impressive.

I use a little $10 - $20 wireless mouse. I'm on linux so my sensitivities will be weird, but I use 2 on both Skulltag and ZDaemon. 50 on Chocolate Doom, which I can never get feeling right since it al ...

Does the latest ZDoom use SDL on Windows? I don't think ZDaemon does, I know PrBoom does, and I bet Doom 3 does as well.

If this is the case, I would be willing to bet on placing the blame on the v ...

Well, vanilla doesn't have a way to set a fraglimit. If there is a timelimit set, however, it will exit as soon as the limit hits.

A dmflag for something like this is stupid. It's a minor change t ...

I find it slightly humorous that you quote EQ (not that what he says is bad or anything), but you quote him as if it was what you were trying to say from the beginning
I didn't go into detail myself ...

Torment, I'll just quote EQ since he pretty much sums up exactly why it's abrupt.

At the moment, if you're the final killer, the last image you see is your victim with a bunch of blood splatter. Yo ...

I think if the pause were brief enough, I might welcome such an addition. But by brief, I mean until the last player who dies finishes their sound/animation/palette sequence.
Basically this. It reall ...

It's not for the sake of extending intermission at all, it's meant to ease the transition into intermission since the current way is very abrupt. Also, Cybershark, just because this is from other sour ...

I'm not so sure, coming from the other ports, it feels extremely abrupt.
It doesn't need to be a very long freeze, just enough to ease the transition a bit

This is more of an aesthetics thing. In Skulltag and Odamex, after a match is won, there is a small delay where the winner is displayed (about 1 second), and every player is unable to move. Then the g ...
