Well - I've had talks with the guys from over there and they seem to think they could beat anyone from Europe (Titan!!).

Well... let's just see! I plan to hold another CTF tourney but this time it'll be 5 Czechs verse 5 Europeans!

Of course there will be some changes from the US v Europe one as I've learnt from my mistakes there. These will include NO captains. I'll leave it up to everyone else to get a team of 5 together via talking on IRC, e-mail etc.
This time we should play over both packs once. I'm sure everyone is use to the 2nd CTF pack?
Same scoring system so it goes over how many flags are scored.

A date is yet to be arranged but I'll see if the teams can come to some agreement.

i know you say there will be no captains, but i strongly advise yo uto reconsider, becasue i believe darkranger is an excellent captain with the right tactics and knowledge. he got thrown in at the deep end last tornament and still he coped ok. think what he can do with preparation. he is n ot the sort of guy to leave the team stranded at the start of a tornament.

hehe thanx alot Vampire, yeah i say do have captain because someone has to organise a team and prepare tactics, it works better with captains this sounds liek a good idea and at least we can all play on a l@p server aswell

Yep, I agree. Especially since there's no Shockwav3 interference.....
You'd be a much better Captain, since you'd also play with the team.

There should be a captain IMO, but chosen between the players who are interested in this game in some kind of voting process.
Then he/she should take care of the team itself and choose the best players, still he/she should listen to what the others have to say about the team make-up.
No captain = anarchy and chaos.
